Jim Shepherd Industry Award Presentations 2006

The Jim Shepherd Award was introduced in 2004 to recognize the contribution of vendors to the records management industry and to acknowledge their ongoing support of the Records Management Association of Australasia. The 2006 winner of the award is:

Objective Corporation who have been an ongoing supporter of the RIM Professionals Australasia for many years through advertising in InfoRIM Professionals Australasia Quarterly and in the Online Product & Services Directory, exhibiting at and often sponsoring the RIM Professionals Australasia Convention annually, sponsorship of local Branch events, particularly in Queensland and sponsorship of the IQ Objective Article of the Year Award in 2005 and 2006.

This demonstrates Objective Corporations commitment to further advancing the recognition of the records and information management industry and their place within it.  Over the past 19 years Objective have consistently improved their product through ongoing research and development (again demonstrating an ongoing commitment to the industry) and their latest product release Objective 7 is a comprehensive integrated suite of Enterprise Content Management modules that have been designed to address requirements including Document Life Cycle Management, Electronic and Physical Record Management, Process Automation / Workflow, Web Content Lifecycle Management and Reporting. 

Collecting the award on behalf of Objective was Katrina Hinton and Gary Somerville who thanked the RIM Professionals Australasia saying, “we are proud to support the RIM Professionals Australasia and look forward to continuing our support in the future”.
