2012 Technology Survey

We are inviting all members to participate in RIM Professionals Australasia’s 2012 Technology Survey.

Since the survey was last undertaken in 2010, it has been substantially updated to account for new technology and terminology, and revised achieving a massive reduction of one third of questions on the previous two surveys in 2008 and 2010.

The aim of the RIM Professionals Australasia Technology Survey is to measure technology adoption in RIM Professional Australasia member employing organisations, where technology impacts on the work of RIM professionals and consequently has implications for education, training and competency standards. This survey also provides insight into where the RIM program fits and functions in member organisations and what organisations expect from their RIM staff. Analysis of survey results will show us how we can best equip ourselves with current and emerging in-demand knowledge and skills likely to be important into the future.

This survey is held every two years, making it an extremely valuable longitudinal research tool for RIM Professional Australasia’s members, as well as the greater global RIM community.  The results of the 2008 and 2010 surveys can be found on the RIM Professionals Australasia website.

The survey should take approximately 15-20 minutes to complete and will remain open until 21 December 2012.  Please commence the survey here – http://www.surveymonkey.com/s/2012RIMPATechnologySurvey.

Should you choose to complete the optional personal contact details section you will be placed in the draw to win a Kindle e-book reader valued at AU$139.00.

We thank you for your time and effort completing this survey and look forward to analysing the results and sharing them with you.
