RIMPA Meet and Greet – 26 May 2017, Wellington

This is an invitation extended by the CEO and the Board of Directors of Records and Information Management Professionals Australasia (RIMPA) to anyone in New Zealand who wishes to attend:

Records and Information Management Professionals Australasia (RIMPA) is the peak professional body representing records management and information management professionals and other stakeholders. RIMPA leads the direction and fosters the growth of the records and information management profession through actively setting standards and building the capability of the profession.

Through its international affiliations and its close association with industry and academia, RIMPA ensures that its members are given access to a soundly‐based professional recognition framework.

The difference between RIMPA and other organisations is that the focus is to give to others and to allow members to serve as a resource. In doing so, our members have the opportunity to meet other professionals they would not have otherwise met, whilst at the same time improving their business communication skills and increasing their own business contacts.

The RIMPA Board are holding their Board Meeting in Wellington from 26 – 30 May 2017 and cordially invite you to attend Friday 26 May, 2017 from 1630 for a meet and greet and welcome function.  This function is open to ANYONE who is interested in Records and Information Management – you do not need to be a member of RIMPA to attend.

Your attendance at this important business meet and greet is needed to discuss and make important decisions in relation to the records and information management profession.

The meet and greet will start as round table discussion wherein you will be able to ask questions that are of interest to you.

There are no registration costs. At your earliest, RSVP to the CEO, Kate Walker at email: kate.walker@rimpa.com.au  to advise attendee details.  It is important to allow the organising committee sufficient time to make the necessary arrangements for a “meet and greet on May 25” – this will include nibbles and drinks.

If you would like the CEO and Board to meet with your organisation directly, the Board has allowed Monday 29th for onsite visits.
