The WA Branch of Records and Information Management Professionals will be holding their Branch General Meeting at 5pm on Monday 10 July. Please note that due to the short notice period given, the meeting will proceed as normal, however nominations for branch council are to be made via email email@example.com using the attached nomination form and the closing date for nominations is 20 July 2017. This year the positions of ‘Councilor’, ‘Branch President’ and ‘Director’ are up for nomination.
The General Meeting is free to attend, however members are invited to consider registering for the seminar which follows. Pricing for the seminar is $15.00 for members, $30.00 for non-members and invoices are available upon request.

CCTV and Freedom of Information Requests
Mr. Sven Blumell, Information Commissioner
Mr Blumell’s presentation will cover the issues dealing with CCTV footage and Freedom of Information requests. In particular identifying what personal information might look like when captured by CCTV.
Between the General Meeting and the presentation, the audience is invited to enjoy networking and discussion. Food platters and drinks will be served.
