The Position

We are seeking a highly motivated and appropriately qualified and experienced Records Manager who would relish the opportunity to lead our records management team and drive an ambitious project to deliver best-practice records management to the Trust.

The project includes a comprehensive review of records management policies, practices and processes; the introduction of an Electronic Document and Records Management System; and the phased digitisation of the Trust’s historical collection and other important corporate records.

The successful candidate will be offered a generous remuneration package in an ongoing role.

Key Selection Criteria

Demonstrated experience working in commercial organisations.

A Tertiary qualification specialising in records and archives management or extensive relevant experience.

Minimum of five years practical experience in systems design and/or implementation

Minimum accreditation of Associate with any of the professional information management associations.

Demonstrated experience in establishing a company-wide business classification scheme or other recordkeeping tools, (thesauri, standards etc).

Working knowledge of relevant records and information management legislation and standards including but not limited to the Public Records Act, Freedom of Information Act Information Privacy Act, AS/ISO 15489 etc.

Working knowledge of and experience with key principles associated with electronic document records management systems.
