We are seeking a highly experienced and motivated project manager to design and implement a strategic and systematic approach for the contemporary management of Council’s information and records to support good records management and business use.

The role is responsible to develop and implement a long-term vision for Council’s information and records management in a move toward a digital environment and to achieve organisational objectives, meet business requirements, enable open and transparent decision making and a better-informed public.

To be successful in this position you will be a competent communicator who enjoys working in collaboration with the business to improve and deliver outcomes for customers. You will also be solutions focused, with the ability to effectively identify and resolve issues in a timely manner, while still meeting reporting obligations.

The successful candidate will need to be a skilled people manager with proven experience leading and implementing critical and imperative changes and strategic initiatives across an organisation. You will also possess adept communication and interpersonal skills and thrive in a dynamic and collaborative work environment interacting with stakeholders at all levels.

You will thrive in an autonomous working environment and have demonstrated relationship building skills interacting with stakeholder to achieve optimum business outcomes. You are also a confident and capable decision maker who takes accountability and can effectively manage the day to day priorities of your project while keeping in line with approved budgets and business plans.
