How to Apply

Applying for a status upgrade is easy.  First ensure you meet the guidelines for the level you are applying for.  You must apply for each level in order so if applying for the first time this would be “Associate”, if you are already an Associate this would be “Chartered Member”.

If you are confident you have achieved the level for which you wish to apply gather your proof, complete an application form and submit all of it for assessment.  Generally, local Branches assess Associate applications while Chartered Member and Fellow applications are assessed by representatives of the Board of Directors.

The process can take up to 3 months and you may be contacted for more information.

Once your application has been assessed you will be notified in writing and can then use the appropriate post-nominals as well as receiving the benefits of that level of membership.
