Industry Experience: With over 15 years of experience in Information Management, I have held key roles in various sectors, including government, higher education, and aviation. My extensive background includes leading initiatives at organisations such as Airservices Australia, Major Roads Projects Victoria, Swinburne University of Technology, and Brimbank City Council. In these roles, I have spearheaded the implementation of digitisation strategies, managed records and information management systems, and developed governance frameworks. This experience has honed my ability to ensure compliance with legislative requirements while fostering innovation and efficiency in information management practices.
Special Skills: I possess a range of special skills that have been critical to my success in information management. My expertise includes developing records management policies and procedures, overseeing system upgrades, and applying change management frameworks such as ADKAR to ensure smooth transitions. I am skilled in digital transformation, having led organisations through the shift from paper-based to digital processes. Additionally, my strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills enable me to work effectively with diverse teams, provide training, and manage complex projects to deliver results on time and within budget.
Qualifications: I hold a Bachelor of Arts (Journalism) and have further enhanced my qualifications with a Diploma in Leadership Management from Victoria University. This qualification has equipped me with practical leadership skills that I apply across different industry contexts. Additionally, I completed an Advanced Diploma in Recordkeeping in 2013, which advanced my ability to implement business systems, identify opportunities in digitisation, and manage information within complex environments. I am also an Associate Member of Records & Information Management Professionals Australasia (RIMPA), which reflects my commitment to professional development in this field.
Carolyn Hartman MRIM
Industry Experience: I bring decades of experience as an information management expert and manager, having worked extensively across both the private and public sectors in Victoria. My career spans a wide range of industries, allowing me to develop a deep understanding of diverse organisational needs and challenges.
Special Skills: I use innovative and unique interview techniques designed to thoroughly assess applicants' abilities, while always respecting and adhering to the recruitment process. Matt O'Mara FRIM
Industry experience: Matt, a RIMPA member since 2002 and a Fellow member, is the Founder and Director of i3 Ltd, bringing over 35 years of experience in senior information management and ICT roles. He offers a unique range of knowledge and insights, drawing from his extensive experience in Chief Executive and general management positions, where he has successfully led complex transformation programs. His expertise includes serving as the Chief Information and Technology Officer for the three central agencies: the Department of the Prime Minister and Cabinet, the State Services Commission, and Treasury.
Special skills: Strategic information management, Significant knowledge domain across a number of sectors including education, health, audit, central and local government, commercial, not-for-profit and board experience.
Qualifications: Matt's experience is complimented by the completion of a Bachelor of Business Studies Degree and a Diploma in Business Studies (endorsed in Management) from Massey University. Matt has completed certificates in Adult Education and Teaching and Intermediate Health Science at Auckland University of Technology. He has also completed the Cyber Security Foundation Practitioner Exam delivered by ALC, PRINCE2 Foundation certification and the Asset Management 101 course delivered by the Institute of Public Works Engineering Australasia.
Nancy Taia Life MRIM
Industry Experience: 30+ years R&IM experience: 25 years at a Local Government working in all facets of a records program from Records Officer to Supervisor. 3 years as R&IM Manager in a State Government agency.
Special Skills: Classification, Appraising, Policy Writing, Project Management, Procedure development, Staff engagement and supervision, training
Qualifications: PRINCE2 Certificate in Project Management, Diploma of Business, Certificate IV in Business (Recordkeeping)
Sandra Ennor ARIM
Industry Experience: Broad experience in the Records and IM industry in all government sectors and private industry. Experience with strategic direction, stakeholder engagement, change management and project management.
