About the role

Looking for an exciting opportunity to use your Information Management skills to play a vital role in managing the Council’s corporate information?

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Information Management Officer to join our Information Management Team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in providing efficient and effective management of information management processes, archival processes, and tasks associated with our Council’s Electronic Records & Document Management System (EDRMS). Your focus will be on delivering high-quality, customer-focused information management services to our internal stakeholders.

Desired Skills and Experience
About you


We are seeking a highly motivated individual with qualifications in Information/Records Management and/or previous relevant experience in a senior records or information management role.

Ideally you will have demonstrated experience and knowledge of records management & archival principles in a Local Government environment, the ability to identify opportunities for continuous improvement in processes and ways of working, and possess highly developed communication skills (written & verbal) with the ability to develop strong working relationships both internally and externally.
