We are currently seeking a Senior Records Management Officer who will be responsible for assisting users and administration of the corporate electronic document record management system (AvePoint CloudRecords), ensuring the Library’s records are authentic, complete, accessible, and meet the conditions for destruction as per NSW State Records GDA.

About the role:

The Senior Records Management Officer position is responsible for supporting the Library’s management of corporate records within a SharePoint environment. We are seeking a records manager who is interested in exploring modern approaches to record-keeping that look beyond the traditional systems and that focus on the integration of records management into the broader information management behaviours of staff.

About You:

We are seeking an enthusiastic individual who demonstrates the ability to provide frontline, high-quality, customer-focused records management services. You're adept at change management, championing good information and records management practices, and delivering high-quality end-user training.

To be successful in the Senior Records Management Officer role, you will have the following knowledge and experience:

  • Relevant qualifications and/or relevant experience in records management.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the State Records Act, 1998.
  • Experience in the administration of electronic document records management systems.
  • Experience working in government-based records management and Microsoft 365 and SharePoint.
