Thomas Kaufhold is a name well known and highly respected across the records and information management profession. With over four decades of service to the sector, Thomas brings a wealth of experience, insight, and leadership to the role. We are delighted to welcome him back in an official capacity.
His long-standing commitment to RIMPA Global includes:
- Serving as Chair of the RIMPA Global Board for six years
- Holding the position of Federal Treasurer for a total of nine years
- Being a foundation member of the ACT Branch since its formation in 1975
- Induction into the Associations Forum Hall of Fame (2020) and the RIMPA Global Hall of Fame (2023)
Thomas is a Chartered Member (Life) and currently serves as an Executive Member of the Global Information Consortium (GIC). His distinguished public service career saw him lead records and information management initiatives across numerous Commonwealth agencies. Beyond the public sector, Thomas has also supported government and private sector clients as a consultant and contractor.
Now semi-retired, Thomas continues to champion the profession, offering his vast knowledge and strategic expertise to RIMPA Global and the broader information management community.
