Call for Submissions: 2025 Conference on Archives and Community

The Australian Society of Archivists 2025 Conference: Telling Our Stories: Community, Connection, Resilience will take place from 10-12 November 2025 in Warrane/Warrang/Sydney.

This event invites professionals to share their experiences, research, and reflections on archives by exploring their role in communities, institutions, and personal histories. It will be a space to examine where the sector has been, where it stands, and where it should evolve.

A variety of presentation formats are welcome, including papers, posters, lightning talks, interactive sessions, and workshops.

This year’s theme focuses on the societal impact of archives over the past 50 years—how it has changed, how it continues to evolve, and how it should shape the future.
