Empowering Global Growth: Mentors Assigned for KARMA Talent Program

We are excited to announce that mentors have now been assigned to the talented participants of the Kenyan Archives and Records Management Association’s (KARMA) Talent Program. This impactful initiative, aligned with RIMPA’s global strategy, aims to enhance education and elevate records management maturity in Kenya.

The program brings together nine selected mentees with experienced RIMPA Members to foster skills development and provide career guidance. Over the course of 2025, mentors will connect with their mentees monthly to offer insights, share expertise, and help shape the future of records management in Kenya.

As the program gears up for a February 2025 launch, mentors have been invited to schedule introductory meetings with their mentees. These initial meetings, to be conducted virtually, will be instrumental in setting expectations and establishing a foundation for the mentoring journey.

We also extend our thanks to the mentors who submitted their introductory videos. These brief yet powerful messages resonated deeply with the mentees, leaving them inspired and excited about the program's potential.

This initiative highlights the power of collaboration in strengthening our profession worldwide. We are confident that this partnership between mentors and mentees will foster innovation and leadership within Kenya’s records management community.

Stay tuned for updates as we follow the progress of this transformative journey. Thank you to all involved for your dedication and passion for advancing the profession on a global scale!

Together, we are building a brighter future for information and records management worldwide!
