Members Suggestion:
Bring back the chapter meetings, the meetings were very insightful and a collective approach when considering new changes and working out 'best practice' together rather than trying to work out how to implement new changes individually, also would be great to meet other record colleagues in my area in other industries.  Also a communication platform would be great for chapter meetings

Great news! We've heard you loud and clear. Your feedback has inspired us to revamp and supercharge what we're now calling Local Government Communities of Practice (CoPs).

Victorian Local Government kicked off a CoP last year, but it’s been a bit quiet in 2024. So, let’s crank things up! The RIMPA team are committed to working with local government reps ready to drive this fantastic networking opportunity. We can help set up CoPs in any state or territory where there's interest.

And let’s consider bringing back the good old days where a local government would host an in-person meeting for a few hours saving any cost or inconvenience, and don’t worry, we can also have virtual options to include everyone.

And about that communication platform? Easy peasy! Our online community forum can host various communities, and we are excited to set this up for Local Government. Let’s get this network buzzing!
