This workshop extends on the concepts covered in the all attendees session. We’ll dive deeper in technology, explore common scenarios and priorities and experience firsthand what it means to take the first steps in planning your information governance and compliance journey with Microsoft Purview and Microsoft 365. In this workshop we will:
Begin with a tour of the relevant information lifecycle management features and compliance capabilities of Microsoft Purview for IM and RM managers.
Revisit the common first step scenarios and discuss participants priorities.
Outline what pre-work and decisions you need to make prior to configuration of features for common scenarios.
Step through what it means to configure the features in a demonstration environment, so you can see first-hand how things come together.
Revisit the decisions to be made and unpack what pre-work needs to be undertaken to inform your decisions.
Familiarise you with a set of resources that provide the basis for you to map out your journey.
Andrew is a Regional Engagement Manager and principal of Engage Squared's Information Management practice. With over 15 years' experience with the Microsoft SharePoint and 365 platforms Andrew has extensive knowledge of what information management and productivity mean when it comes to the Microsoft ecosystem.
