Stephanie Coleman is the Director of State Records of South Australia and the Presiding Member of the Privacy Committee of South Australia. A dedicated and highly motivated leader with over 20 years’ experience working within an information management environment and over 15 years within an archival setting. Recognised for her positive attitude, strong work ethic and as an individual who strives for excellence and continuous improvement for the benefit of customers, staff, and stakeholders.
Stephanie has spent her 30 year working career within the South Australian Public Sector starting as a Minister’s correspondence clerk. Equipped with the skills and knowledge attained from a career that has included: processing freedom of information applications; being a team member on an EDRMS Implementation project; and developing information management policies and guidelines for departmental and across government application, Stephanie is certainly familiar with the rewards and challenges faced by information management professionals.
With a passion for the archive, Stephanie is focussed on guiding and supporting agencies with the management of the future archives, and bringing the existing collection to life.
