Ross will present on the status of development of a whole-of -government data and information strategy.  This work is being coordinated via a cross agency working group and guided by:

• The “Foundation Four” approach developed by the Australian Government as well as practices undertaken in other jurisdictions.
• Existing and planned data and information practices across agencies.

Ross Latham is Tasmania’s State Archivist and Director Collections at Libraries Tasmania. He is responsible for the management of State records and information as well as the collections, services and operations of the Tasmanian Archives and the State Library of Tasmania.

Ross previously worked for the National Archives of Australia.
