As data becomes more valuable, it becomes more susceptible to theft. Understanding how data is managed in an organisation is critical to understanding how it can be secured. Aligning data security controls to data lifecycle management is a practical and simple way of securing data. Within this session I will share a simple framework that I have used before and operationalised, in order to achieve this at a large state government agency.
With 25 years under his belt, Ashwin is an experienced and qualified CISO and business leader who is currently a Cyber Security Partner at RSM. Ashwin has been named as 2021 Global Top 100 Leaders in Information Security by the Corinium Group. His role encompasses leading a cyber security practice aimed at assisting clients to identify cyber exposure and managing these effectively.
